Evan was finally able to fit in his Sully of Monsters Inc. costume 3 years after it was given to him at his first birthday by tito Wally and tita Judy. He was dead set on becoming Captain Rex of Star Wars but mommy was thankfully able to bargain with him.
Halloween has become my favorite american tradition ever since Evan was old enough to go seriously trick or treating. But this year has been the most crazy, busy, fun for us yet. Started Friday morning for Evan’s class Halloween party. Then Saturday morning, Evan and I went out with his best friend and his mom to a fall fest held in Evan’s future school. It was beyond what we expected. Giant slides, bouncy slides and even pony rides – for very cheap. Evan loved the pony ride so much he burst out woo-hoing and yee hawing which made me think of horseback riding lessons in the future. Saturday night was Evan’s halloween school party night. Evan even played his first musical chair game and ended up being in the last three standing. For both school parties Evan was dressed as a pirate.
Then after trick or treating yesterday, we got an impromptu invitation for dinner at a friend’s house. As if it weren’t enough, Evan was scheduled to be the Star Of The Week for his class the following Monday so mommy was kept busy with his projects.
But as I said, I had the most fun time. Till next Halloween.
